I have a cheap Dual radio in Matthew. Today I drove to the mailbox with the radio on, turned the car off and stuck some letters in the box. When I got back in the car and started it up, the radio lit up but no sound came out. Clock still works. Tried all the controls, nothing. Do radios just die like that, for no apparent reason? It is only a few years old, and I've used in three different cars as a temporary radio until I could buy a better one.

I've had this exact same problem with 2 duals I will never own another. I revived the second one (free Walmart replacement)
Buy popping the face off and reseting the radio.
    Good luck

Had a dual n my jeep when it was given to me, never worked a day at all for sound. Lit up and looked like a winner, just never produced sound.
