  • HELP!

Bought Thirteen inch Geo metro steelies today torqued down the lugs and theres too much space. They wobble like crazy in the front and are interferring with my brakes.

Are you sure they were the first generation Geo metro wheels?
    Or are they bent?

      That isn't normal.

My Geo Metro rims fit on no problem over stock Festiva Brakes.

I don't see why 13" Metro Steelies would be interfering with the brakes, unless you or someone else did a Capri brake swap which requires 14" wheels.

That or they are bent very bad.

        Moved to the proper section

        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

lug bolts are too long. I had to cut them down on another Festiva "while the buyer was there to pick the car up". We put some jy metro steelies on and they did the same thing you are explaining. Never got to look into what was making them too long. They were the same lug bolts that were on with the Festiva wheels. Though my wheels were aftermarket. We figured where the problem was, fixed it, and sent him on his way. Just never had a chance to figure out why.

Thank you very much everyone! I put some hub spacers on the front wheels and now they do not grind and rub anymore! (:
