  • By the white marks for setting timing....

    ...if while looking at the white notch with a timing light and the notch is before the pointer a smidge (towards the firewall). Is the timing advanced or retarded? Thanks, Jim

    Advanced. Since the timing light indicates the point when the spark plug fires, your engine is firing before the two marks line up.
    You gonna race that thing?

      Thats where I want it. Thanks, I just didn't want to check the timing again if I didn't need to.
