Mobil 0w-20 winter & 10W30 summer. Heavy oil hurts the horsepower & mpg on these small engines. Also take a look at how small the hole is in your HLA's. They dont like thick oil-

10w 30 all the time. I think that's what the owners manual says to use. I run 5w 30 in my Subaru, that's what the manual says to run in it. Got great compression and high miles on both.
I beleve that 10W-30 is the most common of the oils.

I work at a lube shop. 5-30 is recommended. Motor engineers spend alota time factoring in all the variables, manufacturer recommendations are for a reason. But 10-30 is fine.
Even though most 15-40s have super beneficial minerals I would not run it.
Find a good hi milage oil, valvoline maxlife 10-30 would be perfect.

I tried 0w-30 full synthetic one time. Burned enough oil to notice on the dipstick after a couple months. Didn't see any improvement on fuel economy so I switched back to 10w-30 full synthetic.
The newest stuff says it'll protect for 15,000 miles, we'll see how that goes lol
