Car won't turn over!

    I don't think so the one off the filter goes stright to the drivers side spot. What it's doing it it sputters as I crank it then it fires up after a fue seconds and idles high then it drops and dies, hitting the gas makes it die instently

      Do you have your VAF hooked up?

          I unplugged the VAF and it ran longer and didn't die untill I hit the gas

            Car won't fire/run

            I hate to ask so many questions but I've tried every thang! My car won't run it turns over fine thow. When I first turn the key it fires once then after I crank it for a bit it fires bairly and I can smell a tiny bit of fuel. I checked the wires to make Shure the order is right, checked if it has spark and it's a strong spark, checked all the grounds, it has air... My car sat since October so it still has a tinny amount winter fuel but i was able to have it run the other day bairly but keped dieing

                  bad gas... pretty simple problem lol.
                  fuel inside of a sealed gas tank is rated for 90 days,
                  whereas in a vehicle with a vented gas tank it is rated for 30 days.
                  its a good thing to know because the ethanol inside the gas absorbs water from the air.
                  so as it sits it gets to the point where it has so much water in the fuel that the fuel cant hold anymore and it seperates causing the two seperate layers.
                  and as your vehicle gets down to where the water is at the bottom of the gas tank. it starts to get into trouble.
                  this could happen after one long storage or the water can accumulate over many years of inconsistent useage/operation.

                    Again, that is the reason why it is highly recommended to use non-ethanol gas in all seasonal equipment (lawnmowers, snow blowers, etc.). Anything that is going to sit around for about four to six months. Ethanol is poison to rubber hoses as well as metal gas tanks and metal fuel line components (after it absorbs water).
