  • Torque Converter Bushing

While pulling the transmission off the old engine the torque converter stayed on the engine instead of pulling off with the transmission. While I was sliding the transmission out I allowed it to drop and resulting in the transmission shaft scoring the bushing in the front of the torque converter. A local shop told me to buy a new torque converter but I would rather just replace the bushing if possible.

I cannot locate the bushing online, can anyone tell me the proper name, part # or size?

    Thanks.

    I've seen it on rockauto.com
Sorry I don't have time to poke around right now, but it should be pretty easy to find on the hierarchy list.

not too familiar with the ATX but i picked 3 parts off this diagram based on your description as possibly what you mean. the base part# is on the diagram. here are the full part #s. the first 2 are available from GREEN SALES in OHIO. the third is not available. if neither of these are what you need, lemme know if you see it and i'll get you that part #.
