On my 89 after warm up a loud whistle starts from around the injectors, I can't pin point it, but its like around the egr or either that round thing on the gas supply rail.
Anybody ever had this prob?

Usually a noise like that is a vacuum/suction leak, so you might pinpoint it spraying around through a plastic straw. Maybe it's an injector o-ring leaking.When I'm good I'm very, very good and when I'm bad I'm HORRID. -
Look at the FPR hose for a crackSome people like to read fiction,I prefer to read repair manuals. Weird I know-

yes definitely agree with a something leaking vacuum.
one time on my eclipse i had my throttle bodie bored over 5mm and when i reinstalled it with the felpro gasket,
and fired it up i had the highest frequency, highest decibel whistle i ever heard from a car and man did it bother the sh** outta me.
i had to instantly turn the engine of because i couldnt handle it.
took it off used a small amount rtv on it put it back together.

Try replacing the 6" long vacuum hose from FPR to intake plenum.Some people like to read fiction,I prefer to read repair manuals. Weird I know-
