During the recent rebuild of the 1.3 in my 91 Festiva I decided it was time to add power steering. The a/c compressor and the crank already have a V style belt pulley while the p/s pump that I received has a pulley that is made for a ribbed belt. I would like to change the p/s pump pulley over to a V-belt configuration pulley but have not had any luck finding a pulley. Any suggestions on what pulley I should use? Anyone have one to sell? Thanks.

My lone PS-equipped Festy uses a ribbed belt (4K372 on there now) and works just fine. I'm not a belt guru, but from what I've read, ribbed belts are less fussy about absolute alignment of driving and driven pulleys than are V belts.Last edited by AlaskaFestivaGuy; 06-17-2014, 07:09 PM.88L black, dailydriver

I can't say that I've ever seen a vbelt pulley on any of the B series engine power steering pumps. You may have better luck finding a ribbed crank pulley and compressor pulley, those are plentiful at the yards on 323s and Proteges (pre-92 for the crank pulley, to fit your small nose crank on your '91).No festiva for me ATM...
