  • I fixed my dim headlight

I replaced the head light socket on my passenger side of my aspire.

For a few months the headlight would go dim (not out) and I'd have to play with the wires to get it back to full strength. Then I'd hit a bump and it'd be dim again.

I picked up a new head light socket from NAPA. Part LS6479 It took the poor guys like 10 minutes to find which headlight socket was for the 9003 headlight bulbs.

I cut the three wires (make sure you can figure out which goes to which, the new plug has three black wires). Then I soldered the wires, plugged it in, and I'll now be able to see at night.

    Thought it'd be good FYI.

Probably a bad ground in that plug.
