  • Steering rack

Okay, I've read all of the threads I found ,but a lot of conflicting &/or confusing info .
Can a Aspire steering rack be used in a '93 manual steering Festiva ?
I have new Festy inner tie rods.

    Please just a simple answer.
    If NO why.
If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!

Thanks Mike. Was gonna get the bushings from you, but my son ; A Manager of a full service Jiffy lube ; got this for me.
He knows I have a Aspire swap.
His mechanics are gonna do the work & he's gonna pay the labor cost.

Now I have a question. Can you take a power steering setup from a Aspire, and stick it in a Festiva?

Yes . It's a little tricky getting the res mounted . You have to do some adjusting to the lines but yes you can use it .
New build on the way .

Cause if someone has a donor aspire sitting there and all donor parts can work with minor tweaking... Why buy other parts?

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Well, if that's the case, I also have an Aspire power steering pump and Aspire power steering reservoir for sale! Minor tweaking required.
