  • Fuse Block Swap

So I broke my stock fuse block. I went to the local junkyard and ripped one out of an escort I believe, the closest thing I could find. It has the same slots as the stock one; Head, Main, and EGI, with two extra I just snipped those for now.

The main is an 80a male PAL fuse ( black with blades that stick out). The only male PAL that I can find around here is the yellow 60a.

I know they make male 40a, but I might have to order it from China. Can I use a 60a for now?

You could even just jump them over temporarily. It's not recommended, but if you are definitely going to replace them with proper fuses, I'd do it till they come in.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

Take a look at some of the different cars fuseboxes when you are walking around the yard. That's where I stock up on all my fuses. Much better pricing than the stores!
