  • Seatbelt replacement

I just picked up a 91 this month and need both automatic shoulder belts and the buckle part of the drivers lap belt. I was wondering if anyone knows which cars are good donors for these parts?

    Two words. Junk yard.

    They are really expensive NOS.

That was my plan but I need to know what cars would make suitable donors.

You 'Murricans got ripped-off with inane motorized seat belt features on a shoebox car. Everywhere else in the world Festys/121s/Prides had simplicity manual belts. Easy enough to retro-fit it is just a question of finding new or used ones outside of USA.

in my old festiva, i put seatbelts out of an escort into it (got rid of the auto belts)

that car also had no interior, so i didnt need the trim panels. the bolt holes are in the body for regular seatbelts.
