  • Rear view mirror...it's brown on top and bottom. Dash speaker size?

Not really sure what happened to it, but it looks diseased.
Are there any other cars with the same mirror? I'd prefer
to have something stock than try and make something fit.

Also, what size speakers are in the dash behind those vents?
One of mine is currently blown and I found two 4" Kickers for
like $30 and I'm wondering if that's the proper size.

The Kia Spectra mirror is just a tad larger and a direct fit. Two screws and you're done.

Four mounting holes for the rear speakers are on a 116 mm bolt circle.

Wow, thanks for all the quick responses

I appreciate the offer Flyin4stroke, but I'm trying not to do
too much highway driving yet since that TOB is bad and the
ball joint/control arm on the driver side is completely shot.
I'll just see if the JY around here has any Spectra's that I
can get one from on my way home

Awesome! I guess I'll be getting those Amazon speakers
          then Thanks guys!

If you can't find a Spectra mirror, I have a nice one for $10 + USPS shipping at cost from 14092.

I installed a Smart mirror in my Festiva. However, it involves some modifications to the ball.

the rears are actually the same size as the fronts. Same mounting holes. It just has a larger opening area. For a bolt and go replacement go 4" all the way around the car.

Ah, that's good news. Perhaps I'll actually replace all the speakers then.

Probably better than what I'm getting. I did see some 4" kickers on Amazon for $25 though. Cheaper than the $32 pair. I may get those for the back

I got Kenwood Sports KFC-1054S Speakers from Amazon and they have a flat face that will install in the dash grilles from the front. Kenwood makes several like this but some are hard to find. I ordered twice and had the orders cancelled on me as "out of stock". They were only $20 per pair. Some others, if they are thin enough, can install from the back side, but the drivers side doesn't have much clearance from underneath the dash and if too thick overall are impossible (for me) to go in from the front and position on the back side.

You know, in retrospect I probably should have pulled that grille off before ordering
the speakers. I guess I'll take a look at them sometime tonight.

I would like to know which aftermarket speakers with three point mounts, will screw into the door speaker openings without and modifications. I have already prewired for door speakers. I only need to fab a couple of pigtails to join the existing dash speaker connectors to the door harnesses.

Japanese Nissan customers have these rear view mirrors.
