89 festiva EFI No Start

Hello Guys, I have a 89 festiva with a no start condidtion. I have good spark and fuel going to the engine. Could the MAF cause this to happen. Before this the car was running rough on hills. Anyone out there with any clue as to where I can look?

Are you getting injector pulse? Have you done and recent repairs?

Make sure the door in the VAF moves freely. If you have fuel and spark and assuming air, it is probable that your timing is off. Check timing belt condition and make sure your marks on the crank and cam are per spec in the manual.

Don't forget to check your intake tube and other air hoses for cracks or leaks. Your engine air is being measured at the VAF and any other air entry will cause a lean condition which in turn can cause poor performance.
