93 festiva rear brakes

just bought a 93 festiva, back brakes/shoes are gone and back housing behind spindle that hold shoes and brake hardware are rusted out. Was wondering if anyone had info on were I could find and buy these. I live in west central Illinois.TIA curt

I just had the same problem you probably could swap out a new axle like this I keept blowing wheel cylinders.

Bravekozak is to be commended as the man that heralded FourGreen of Korea. If rear backing plates are what you need check out the stickies on here on how to search part numbers in Russia or Phillipine and put an order in with those guys (Ali?). Their stuff is unbelievably low priced and it is not aftermarket! And no one in n. America is going to have new stuff like that on hand anymore, unless you lower your standards and start visiting southern wrecking yards. The way I understand it Kia is obliged to make and provide Festy parts until such time that Prides and 121s (same car) become 10 years old. And darned if the Iranians aren't still producing a Saipa- version of the Festy but getting parts from there is not so simple if you live in USA.
