Festiva/Aspire Axle Compatability?

My axle on the passenger side of my Festiva is seizing. I think one of the U-joints is going bad.. I have an aspire junked at a buddy's house, and was wondering if I could just put my Aspire axle in in place of the old Festiva one.

Nope the Aspire axle is longer than the Festiva one
