90-93 are efi (electronic fuel injection)
88-89 were car Carburetor .
89- automatic cars were efi but a different version and some if not all wiring and electronic parts are different from the later efi cars.
All body panels are the same and most all parts will inter change. I'm guessing your asking about engine parts because I seen your other thread looking for an engine.
And if you can't find a festiva engine ford aspire had the same b3 but you will need everything off your old engine.
Use the aspire engine as a long block.

OBDI (On Board Diagnostics versionRoman numeral 'I'are primitive and lasted from the mid/late 80s until about 1995 when OBDII entered the global scene. Because of all the improved (?) peripheral stuff (electronics and emission controls) that were implemented at the same time it is by far easiest (when it comes to Mazda/Kia/Ford interchange) to stick with technology of the timeframe that your car was made in. Pre-90s Festys had carburetors. Lucky for you 1990 was the very first year of standardized (89 auto tranny EFI Festivas were oddballs) Electronic Fuel Injection components and controls that continued on until the last run Festivas of 1993 and may well have featured in the 94 Aspires as well. Many many 88-94 Mazda parts will swap into or interchange with what you've got.
Kia Industries told Ford to take a hike after the Aspire fiasco (either that or Ford cut Kia loose) and started producing their own cars. Curiously enough numerous Kia Rio parts (brakes/suspension/pedals/clutch-throttle cables etc) from the late 90s/early 00s also happen to interchange with Festys.Last edited by Bert; 09-25-2014, 06:40 PM.

Typically when I buy a used car, I figure I will have to spend from $100-300 in parts to fix stuff. Tune-up, belts, hoses, and safety parts like steering and suspension ball joints, and brakes come first; anything that will either make you crash or leave you stranded. Maybe rear struts if they are too far gone.Last edited by TominMO; 09-26-2014, 09:12 AM.90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods
