about $25 and a hour of your life. Its not that hard to do.

the biggest pain are the nuts on the studs on the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter

          lube,lube,lube,lube before doing anything

idk about the b3 but im guessing its the same. the kit is seriously the stupidest thing ever. there is not gasket you litteraly just squeeze two or three tubes of rtv on your oil pan and then replace the bearing seals on each end. i was pretty disapointed when i "ordered a repare kit" and i open the box and its two tubes of rtv... :?

the b3 is an actual gasket unlike the the b6t and the bp. I attempted this recently and I broke a bunch of the bolts off and then just swapped in a spare engine.

i went to an auto part store and they said that the lower timing belt cover gasket has to mate with the oil pan gasket correctly. is this true?

i've always used rtv. The rest of the price was for the oil change.
