  • FI "air bleed "adjustment??

OK trying to get my idle set correctly and the book, Factory SM, says to adjust the air bleed on to of the throttle body.

Found it, no problem, but truning the screw doesn't seem to do anything except make my hand tired, LOL!

Does anyone here know the base settings?

I'vce adjusted th TPS correctly, 2 mm feeler gauge and continuity tester but I have yet to see a base setting for either the throttle body air bleed and or the threaded adjustment screw under the dash pot.

I am pretty sure the PO had someone mess this up for them and would like to get it back to a base line setting to adjust once my new VAF gest here Sat.

Iirc you can run the idle screw down all the way then back it off 1 1/2 turns and adjust from there in small increments.

      That's the info I needed!

Any ideas on a throtle plate adjustment, I think that's what that screw is for on the side of the TB under the dashpot adjustment.

      And thanks for the info!
