  • trans fluid ?

    dextron II is whats called for I believe. anyway I was wondering if theres any pre prep and/or additive
    anybodys used with good results. any synthetic brand out there?

    its a 5 speed man.

    I'm going to drain and refill with fresh this week end.

    Everybody either disagrees on this or just sticks ATF in it and forgets about it from what I've read.

    I like Mobil 1 Euro Spec. It's motor oil. It works just fine. And it's synthetic. It's also a 0w weight so it's good for cold weather, if that's a concern.
    Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

      ATF, is correct, Nothing to do but drain, refill!

      I hear syncromesh is pretty awesome. I havent used it yet. I just use ATF.

          +1 on Pennzoil synchromesh. That's what I have been running for a while.

            I use Royal Purple Max ATF, its speced for MTX also.
            If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!
