1993 Ford Festiva
The metal that supports my drivers side windshield wiper pivot assembly is torn and worn away to the point of not being able to support the shaft that holds the wiper blade on. I've rigged it temporarily by using washers to 'sandwich' the torn metal and make it a little more sturdy but it probably won't last long.
The actual part of that Festiva sheet metal body is called, The Upper Dash Panel, it's shown in my 1993 Festiva Service manual on page 01-00-5.
Anyway, has anyone combated this problem, any great fixes? Here's the pic:
