  • Any Ideas??

sorry if this is in the wrong area.

Im going to be looking at a couple of festiva's this week and just wondering what areas are prone to rust etc etc. what items i should look at replacing sooner rather than later. One of them does need a water pump replaces as stated in the auction.

    Cheers,
    Chultz

In the rear, around the area where the trailing arm attaches is prone to rust, selling with the front footwell area and lower rad support, mainly where the crossmember bolts to it

Those are the main places I look first

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Steering, suspension, wheel bearings, shift leaver bushings, emergency brake cable, speedometer cable are perennial favourites.
      Also ignition and brake components.
