  • Brakeline/Master Cylinder Question

Noticed I have pinhole leaks in my rear lines by the master cylinder. I was wondering if anyone new size & thread pitch of the lines flange nut thing. I would like to buy some bolts to cap the master cylinder till next check. Ideal fix no but after 2 vet visits this week I can only afford 2 bolts about. I'd rather have safe front brakes/lines that were recently replaced then have the rear lines blow & lose them all.

This is horrible, I hope someone has a couple of lines they can donate to you. I doubt you can stop brake fluid coming out or air getting in with bolts, as those are flare fittings. Even if you can, it will damage the flare. Then there's a safety issue of control with no rear brakes on these light cars.
When I'm good I'm very, very good and when I'm bad I'm HORRID.
