Small Coolant? Hose Near Distributor?

I think this is a coolant hose coming off the thermostat near the distributor, it looks like it might be 3/8" or 1/2" ID. It looks really spongy at this point and I would like to replace it. Anyone else had to? Will I need to get a special molded hose (read discontinued factory part) or can I just use some fuel hose or something. Sorry if this sounds a bit general but somebody will know what I'm talking about. Thanks

They said the factory hose is not available so use this PN

It has the correct molded curve for that application , it is a little too long, so you will need to cut some of the length off , it is a universal hose ,but like I said it has the right curve and you will not need to kink it to put it on.

Thanks for the information pack rat! It just so happens that I needed to replace that hose tomorrow. I tried using a different hose, but to no avail.
