  • E-brake light coming on during cornering

Well, recently my e-brake light has decided to flash on during cornering.
At first it was just hard cornering while testing out the new tires. Now it
seems like just about every time I take a corner. And sometimes the light
will stay on afterwards. If I shut the car off and turn it back on it will go
away most of the time. This morning the light was on even after I put the
brake down so I pulled it up to see if I could get it to go off. It had some
odd resistance. I'll go see if it still has the resistance or if I can potentially
free it up. Nothing looked rusty underneath on the e-brake system when
I checked about a month ago and since this is in Florida I'm doubting it will
have any rust. The light went off about halfway to work so I didnt think to
check if the e-brake felt funny as I parked today. I'll go out and check it in
    a few minutes.

    ---

Well, the brake doesnt feel like it has as much resistance now so I'm really
not sure what the issue is. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them.
    Thanks, guys!

Check the fluid level in the Master Cylinder. That light comes on when it gets low!!!

I'll go do that now. Thanks a lot
That would make sense why it does it while cornering since
the fluid will shift that much. I appreciate it and I'll let you
      know how it looks.

Yep, that looks like it's gonna be the problem. I feel dumb too
cause I was just working under the hood about a week ago and
never even bothered to check. Thanks, man

Yup, light comes on when it gets low. Better start looking for leaks because it is obviously going somewhere.

Yeah. I'll get around to it. I need to fix my other Festiva for a DD anyway
and i"ll come back and get everything situated with this ones. Dont think
it's leaving the cap anyway, though since it didnt appear to have any of
that oily looking residue the brake fluid leaves
