There is supposed to be a check valve there?

I don't believe I have one on my car. As far as I can tell it doesn't cause any problems not having it, unless that is what is causing the high idle, but I seriously doubt it.

When I first got my car it looked like someone used a heavyduty garden hose or something for a brake booster hose. lol
But I have since replaced that with a hose I took off a junkyard Festy.

On the Festiva there's one built into the hose, it's not a separate item.
