I don't know what kind of shop you have with what kind of toy scanners they use but professional scanners give step by step instructions .

Did you check that wire ? And did you make sure the fuse you put in was good as in making good thru connection . Yea I can call sometime but I really hate the phone . If we can't get it fixed here I'll come up there and fix it in a few weeks .

shadetree car is at shop they just looked at late today owner called me late and asked about scanner port being that it is a swap im going to talk with them tomorrow if they are unable to fix I have one more shop to look at it gave car to son when I got it would like to figure out he is missing it thank you for your help

Is the engine fuse inside the car good? The panel by drivers feet. The shop you have the car at...any manual will give instructions to pull flash codes which is all you get, any pro scanner that covers the year range for factory will also give instructions, but codes will not do as much good as pin tests. You are most of the way through pin tests anyway.
It sounds like something shorted in the main relay area and could have blown the big fuse on the strut tower. The engine fuse inside goes here as well.

Dale Wilson did a great step by step of this awhile back. Anybody know how to find the link to that?
