  • When starting a rebuilt engine for the first time...

    ...to get things lubed up can you just pull the coil wire and plugs and crank the engine over with the gas pedal floored. Will this work ok? Thanks

    did you use engine assembly lube when you put it back to gather its thick and lubes things until oil pressure builds up or you could just crank it by hand to work the oil around i've always used the lube then just fire the engine and let it do its thing(although i haven't rebuild a car engine yet but plenty of atv and dirtbike engines)
