no marker and break lights

I don't have marker and break lights in dad's festiva... where do you check first after checking the riunning light fuse as replacing the fuse makes it go out with a loud flash and bang

also the main fuse link under the hood seems to be fried in the middle

It could be the relay. When I had this issue, not long ago, my problem was a wire going to the relay. Its located in the front passenger side of the engine bay. I had to remove the airbox to get to it. Might be worth a check.

Do your dash lights work? Because the relay affects that as well.

don't have any dash lights also.... may have to check that...

lots of the wires look to be good, smashed down but don't look to be grounding out

got a pic of the part? want to make sure i'm looking in the right place
