  • Starting problems

I have an 89 Festiva that starts ok when it is cold. You know , after sitting a while or over night...not cold as in temperature. But if I try to start it after it has been running a while it sounds like the battery is almost dead but when you try to hook jumpers to it the thing still sounds the same and won't start. When it is starting it does sound like timing might be off a bit or the starter is going.
Anybody have any clues or experience the same problem?
