motor from 94 aspire work in a 89 carby?

will the 89 carby stuff bolt up to the fi engine? what are the problem areas?

I think there's a cam difference and it won't drive a mechanical fuel pump, so you'll need an electric pump and pressure adjustment- just from what I've read her if that helps.

You can install the '89 cam and rockers on the Aspire engine and use the mechanical fuel pump. To keep the V belt setup you will need a crank pulley from a '93 Festiva (bigger crank snout). All of the Festy stuff will bolt right on after that. I ran mine like that for years before I got my B6. Ran great.
