    Fiance's son lost his Festy..........






    Here are the pictures. He was forced off the road from someone coming the other way and just kept going. He snapped a pole in half and got a ticket for failure to control his vehicle. I guess he should have just got hit head on, but that would have probably killed him.
    Festy still starts and runs. He loved his Festy and already wants to replace it with another but doesn't have the money. He only has $200 dollars but not enough to buy another. He is carless now and doesn't know what to do. I told him we could probably swap motor & parts from his totaled festy. Does anyone know of anyone who has a good shell of a Festy for $200?

      Cops are thinking he is lying since he is young. I have had that happen to me many times. It sucks. There are a lot of bad apples when it comes to cops and dealing with younger drivers. And they wonder why the younger generation have a problem with them...

      If you were closer, I would get him a shell so he could continue driving a festiva.

        The Festy has a lot of new parts in it, a re-built motor, new tires, & he even put a lift kit in it so he can get up the creek bed (road) where we live.

        I do have an F-150 with a hitch. I would just need to rent a car dolly & motivate myself to drive over 1,100 miles one way.

              Thanks man, that was the festy you did the engine change on. Avery loved that Festiva and has driven it everywhere, even up to Niagara Falls .....
