trany fluid change?

do yall change ur tranny fluid at normal intervals? my shop teacher said that once ur tranny has around 50k on it you dont need to change the fluid, is this true or do yall go ahead and change the filter and fluid?

Some people don't believe in changing the fluid in automatic trans, it definately doesn't help if it's going bad already. Regular 50-75K changes on a manual trans won't hurt

God, shop teachers are morons when it comes to lubrication.

So are most techs/mechanics.

Asking them about lubrication is like asking your mom what makes women happy.....always dumb advice.
