  • Speed bleeders for stock festiva calipers?

Or any way to get bleeder valve without getting a caliper? I snapped it off after fixing the brake line, and was lucky to get the stub out of the calipers (in a vice, vice grips, torched, and quenched with deepcreep) Now I need to find a solution before work tommorrow afternoon. The parts store would have to order a caliper. Any chance a Mazda or other japanese car would have the same valve? Got to get it on the road tommorrow. Thanks.

dunno about other mazda cars, but the aspire bleeders (which are as close to festiva brakes as I know of) are different than the festiva ones, so I would guess other ones are too
    No festiva for me ATM...

Thanks for the response, I looked around and the bleeder screw is M7x1.0x34mm. That is similar to many japanese cars, and all bmw's

I got the bleeder and the car is back together in time for work What was crazy is that P*rtsAmerica and N*PA had the festiva bleeder screw size as M7x1.0, and guess what, wasn't on my car maybe not on any festiva. The size is M8x1.0 and A*tozone had them but I had to give a part number and then TELL THEM they had it in stock. They found them after rummaging in the back a while. What a PITA this has been, glad its done. I'm sure stuff like this is what causes a lot of otherwise good Festivas to end up in the boneyard.
