My back hatch will just not open any help would be great

Fold up the rear seat and crawl back to the trunk area. Pull off the grey cover on the bottom of the hatch, look in there and see if you can move the rod, which goes from the lock to the latch mechanism, to open it from the inside. If not, push the locking latch at the bottom of the door to unlock it, and try again. Might need a screwdriver to get in there between the hatch bottom and the body. Is it locked? The rod from your lock cylinder to the lock can fall off. Check from inside.

I don't think it's locked its never worked since I've owned it. The latch pulls like it wants to unlock but it must not be hooked to the rods

You could have locked it accidentally. There is a little lever down by the latch that could be moved by mistake. Otherwise what TominMO said.Last edited by zoe60; 12-20-2015, 11:08 AM.Comment
