    Engine Done?

    So my Festiva started running really bad and puking tons of oil from the intake. No power at all. Usually I have had engines spin rod bearings which is pretty obvious but I suspect this would be broken rings?

    Any other hypothesis?

      On the subject of compression tests - can wet and dry test be done on an engine which is "puking tons of oil"? Just curious.

        No, not really.
        do a leak down test
        No car too fast !
