My car died then came back to life. Help?

Anyone who can help me out? I normally never park my car inside. Parked in the shop at work and did some stuff on it after i was done work. Bodywise, not mechanical. all i did under the hood was check the oil. Started the car up to leave and it was idling really low. I made it about 80yrds and then it was like i ran out of gas. Car would idle real low but as soon as i touch the gas it wants to die. Car cant move under its own power and wont really idle at all either without a real light foot on the throttle. I started it 7 or 8 times and it got worse every time. I walked back to the shop to get my co-worker to try and help me push it back into the shop. 10min later we got back to my car and it started up perfectly fine. Raced it up and down the street a few times and its normal. Gonna risk driving home now. Its an hour drive :/ hope i make it. Any ideas what happened? Its only -10c here.*

Well i made it home. It drove perfectly fine. Hopefully it runs ok tomorrow but i still have no idea what happened.

Yes it was.
Its not much to go on for anyone trying to think of what happened but i cant think of what else would be relevant. Gas tank was half full.
