MAF issues

I have a 1990 EFI 5 speed and I have bad connection from the wiring harness to the MAF, I can grab the connector and move it around and it goes from running smooth to not and the more I mess with it the worse it gets.
Any suggestions?

Are the connections clean? Check for any corrosion. Maybe wires are spliced , unrap the harness and check the wires

All connections clean, did not unwrap harness, pretty sure it has never been messed with before, bought it from this lady with 135K miles, original owner.

try a different maf

Getting a different one on Monday, if that doesn't work I have a different wiring harness plug on the way.
