  • Tie rod ends on a aspire swap

I heard rumours that Escort GT tie rod ends would fit, and they did. Then we tried to align the wheels, and found out that we made a mistake. Anyone else try Escort GT tie rods? I was actually heard about using them on festiva aspire break swap here...

So I overnighted some Aspire tie rods and should throw them in toay.

Am I going to have any wheel alignment problems if I use festiva inner tie rods? Because there is very little difference, but I thought that with the escort tie rods...

in the rest of your message, are you talking about inner or outer tierod ends?? USE the festiva inners! aspire or escort outers are fine; but the shank is slightly longer so you will have to have the alignment done by a shop, you can't just mark the inner tierod end where the festy outers were and expect the new tierods to line up with the same mark.
if thats what you tried to do, the aspire ends won't fix the problem. they are a diff lenght then the festy ones (each brand is different lenght from my experience; i've escort ends that were the same part # and different lengths).

        Inner tierods are festiva.

I used aspire tierods, and they are shorter than escort GT. Wheels are more aligned than before. e
