I've done the clutch twice without one.

The pressure plate on the festiva is weak and the transmission is light. As you're tightening the pressure plate, line the clutch up with your finger. The transmission will slide it into position as it goes in.

Finally found the part, borrowed it from autozone, after they told me theydidn't have any, I found out they have everyone of them on a cable, so I went back and borrowed it. Everytime I go there they think I'm crazy and tell me they don't have the part.

Yep, I know how that goes... they see me pull up at Advance Auto and they start making bets on whether I'm gonna ask for Aspire parts (for my brake swap) or Escort GT parts (for my BP car) or Mazda 323 parts (for my old B6 swap) or Festiva parts (for my new stock festiva)...
              No festiva for me ATM...

but advance auto is better than orileys here in lees summit, orileys treat you like shit and will not look in the books if nothings in the computer for a car
