Adhesive info needed

What kind of plastic is the washer fluid reservoir made of and what type of glue/adhesive would be used with it?

Just fab yourself one out of stainless and polish it like a toaster.

AFAIK epoxy is the only waterproof adhesive. Others are "water resistant" and "not for continual emersion". Don't know about adhesion to plastic. If you're going to try, roughen up the surface at bit. You could add sythetic fabric reinforcement.

Plastic adhesive is hit and miss and i always have trouble telling what type of plastic it is. Is it labelled? Check this link. It also has the burn test at the end. http://www.northwestpolymers.ca/inde...ask=view&id=18
Autobody stores sell 2 component bumper repair adhesive. The stuff we always used was a fusor product but its over $100/tube. Maybe they have smaller stuff.
How are you at plastic welding? Or do you know anyone close by who can? That would be your best bet i think.

I used hot melt glue on the cracked seam of the filler pipe on Nellie a couple of years ago.. so far it's still holding. Not sure how it would do on the tank though. I just put a bead on the outside along the seam.

I also recently found a new product that I had not used before in the plumbing section at Lowes.
It's made by Oatey "Fix it Stick" bonding putty. I used it to fix a few places where the fiberglass was
separating on Rosie's battery holder. It dries very quickly and when fully dry it is hard as a rock.
