New rear brakes drums wont go on.

    Good tip but as stated all mechanism has been cleaned.

      just coincidence i just got these from 4G before packing away. last resort. how bout machining drums to max diam 171.5mm? that's an all around increase of .75mm. not a lot but might do the trick.

        If you want to do that, do the shoes instead of the drums! By any chance, have you measured your shoe lining thickness and check it against the manual? I don't know in the US, but in LA you can get shoes with different lining thicknesses...
