I was tinkering around with my 1989 carbureted festiva today and realized the arm that goes to the linkage that opens the secondary port wasn't hooked up. i always felt as if the car didn't have anything in the upper rpms and i guess this confirms it. although the car seems to pull a little more in the upper rpms i'm still skeptical. can someone explain exactly how the secondary works? on all my holley carburetors you can't open the secondaries unless the throttle is open all the way. with the festy carb you can move the secondary up and down without the linkage open. thanks--jeremie
