The Radio coming back on is some kind of short and probably shouldn't be ignored. Weird shit starts happening when you have electrical problems, especially back feeding. Good luck with that.

The radio and wipers not coming on is a known issue with a worn ignition switch. When that happens in my car, which is rarely, I just turn the switch clockwise a tiny bit to make those parts engage, and they stay engaged.

My other issue is that sometimes when I take hard left turns, my ignition key falls out! But the ignition does not turn off, so no real issue.

firebush is correct, you shouldnt ignore these symptoms just because they went away. The ECM can cause a high idle if grounded poorly. I have seen this, and would triple check the ECM ground. The ECM maybe trying to ground through the clutch switch.Or the switch is shorting out when activated. I would also look at replacing or cleaning the ignition switch. If the IGN switch fails your dead in the water. Then after doing those two things. If it happens again you can unplug the Clutch switch. If it stops doing it then, then you know the switch is shorting.

Nitro: re clutch at stop lights - here in Ontario they took points off when I did driver's test for taking the car out of gear at stop lights - they said you need to be ready to go at any time and not wait to shift back into gear, some sort of safety issue. My thinking was popping the clutch in a surprize situation and stalling the engine would be less ready to go.

I do believe its the ignition switch.
If I move it a little more in the off position the radio stops coming on.
