  • Water Pump Noise; "chirp, chirp...chirp, chirp"

I've been trying to eliminate this noise, and tracked it down to the brand new water pump. The old water pump was making the exact same noise.

In desperation, I put about two table spoons of 30 weight into the relief hole of the 'cavity'. This stopped the noise temporarily, but it's coming back.

Is it okay to put oil into the pump?

Should I use synthetic motor instead?

It might break down the lube in the sealed bearing. Any thoughts?

Belts chirp, bearings squeal, or so I've heard.
