  • Pulls hard to right when turning left and exelerating

Mine is a 94 aspire, standard 5 speed trans.
When i turn left and exellerate, it pulls hard to the right until at a certain point there is a loud metal to metal bang, and everything is ok again.
The frontend, steering, and suspension has been checked out, ball joints, tierods, steering gear, axles, struts, are all ok.
The rear left trans. mount was bad, but i replaced both mounts.
The left axle was replaced a yr. or so ago, and it has leaked fluid ever since. I seen a post on aspire.com about the sir clips on axles being distorted and allowing a loose or improperly seated axle to leak fluid.
Could my axle be pulling out far enough to disengauge from the differential, or maybe the differential itself be the problem.
Has anyone had a simular problem or any sugestions.
    Thanks

have you checked your sway bar? Maybe its loose or the bushing are shot.

Also stop excellerating through turns, its not a motorcycle :-)

i think you answered your own question

and if the inboard CV joint was bad (bad internal bearing on one of the tri-pod rollers ) it would pull out of the trans

just had a brand new rebuilt CV shaft on a honda accord do just that

You may want to check and make sure the axel is all the way in.
I had one leaking and that's what it was.
Check the swaybar bushings on the lower control arm. Take them out to check them.
I had a problem where when I was accelerating the car would pull to the left but as soon as you would let up off the gas it would go straight.
The problem was with the swaybar bushing in the right side lower control arm
