    Muffler swap

    Any reason that I couldnt use the slightly larger muffler of an Aspire on an otherwise stock 89 Festy?

    One related Q:, again on a stock carbed car, would I recognize any problem running a gutted CAT?
    Would it mess with what the damn feedback Carb is doing?

    No, no, and no in that order. You're good to go, but why gut the cat? If it's still working, you won't gain anything from gutting it.
    Trees aren't kind to me...

      THX. No I had to replace the muffler and dropped the exhaust, only to find the CAT was already melted.
      I have the exhaust but dont have the scratch for a new CAT.
