tail light dissasembly

my tail lights have some crap in them, i want to take the lenses off to clean them up better. how can i do this?

I am not sure if you can get them off without cracking something .
Just fill them up with a good hot soapy mix , and use a small bottle brush to reach inside thru the socket hole , scrub , rinse it and turn it upside down , or blow them out with air to dry it .

or use some isopropyl alcohol to clean with

I just removed the lenses by boiling them.. remove the 4 screws first.. then about 5 mins in a rolling boil allowed me to push the lense from the socket side with a wooden dowel.. Just make sure they aren't boiling too long or the exterior of the amber lense will cloud. And when you push on the lense make sure you push on an outside edge otherwise the you can disfigure the lense.
