Aspire cooling fan

Where is the cooling temp sensor on a 95 aspire
Cooling fan is not coming on ,but does if tested on battery.switched relays ,checked fuses.

On mine there is only the temp sender for the ecu and ecu uses that input to adjust fuel, switch the fan relay and send a signal to the temp gauge, but it's an Australian one

There are two temp sensors on an Aspire. One is located on the back side of the engine that is the temp sent to the ecu. It has two wires.The other is on the front of the engine towards the drivers side and it turns the fan on and off. It has only one wire. When the coolant reaches a certain temperature it the sensor grounds out and turns on the fan.
