  • Trip odometer won't reset

Replaced my gauge cluster about two years ago at Madness--had FestYboy roll back the miles to match, everything worked great until the car sat for a few (too many) months. Now the trip odometer doesn't like to reset. If you have patience, you can wiggle and push and maybe eventually it resets. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem? What do I need to look at when I pull the cluster back out?

'97 Aspire--yeah i'm about that Aspire life, no it's not a brake swap (yet)

I know!! I was one of the first to be informed of the festivities that are to ensue. I'm excited.

Hard to explain without pictures, and I currently don't have any... I'll have to get back to you with them as soon as I have a chance to get in my garage.

Your car is just reminding you that it's life is one long journey. Older cars grow philosophical.

Most of the tach clusters I've had had issues with that.
